What is Kryolan Aquacolor UV Blue best for?
These Dayglow Colors have a very subtle glow under black lights, UV Blue looks fairly bright under regular light and has a soft glow under the black light. You will have to apply UV Blue thickly in order to create bases and line work that will look semi-solid under regular light. Sponging the base will give better results. UV Blue will not have a dayglow effect under normal light like pinks, reds and oranges do, and it will glow a very soft grey under black light. Once you are done painting for the day we recommend wiping off the surface of the cake using a clean face painting sponge and then let the paint air dry until it has the same consistency as when it was first opened. Then, put the lid on and store it away from direct sun light, extreme heat, humidity or cold since all of those conditions can alter your make up. Never leave your Kryolan face and body paints inside a hot car, sitting under the sun or put them on the refrigerator, microwave or freezer. Do not apply any other chemicals to clean the surface of your cake, and do not wipe it off using baby wipes or other fuzzy fabrics or tissues since that will leave fuzz on the surface of your face paint cake.
