There are some things
that we are not responsible for, which we want you to be aware of before you
make your purchase at Jest Paint. When checking out you agree to all of the policies below.
If you only use the U.S.P.S insurance, you are responsible for filing a claim. We are not responsible for lost packages, shipping delays or damage to
products that occur during shipping. If we could, we would find out a
way to hand deliver every package to you, but we can't as of yet, and we
are all at the mercy of the USPS! :) We want you to ship smart, so double check your shipping address and track your package. We do offer shipping insurance that you to purchase for your valuable packages, and we highly recommend it. We
also offer Express Shipping if you want to be sure that your package will
arrive in time.
You are responsible if you accidently ordered the wrong items. Double check your shopping cart before checking out and once you get the invoice. Please contact us right away if you need to correct an order before we ship it. You will be responsible for the shipping cost of the items that you want to return.
You are responsible for entering the correct shipping address. You will be responsible for the shipping cost to reship and order if an order is sent back to us because of an incorrect address entered at checkout, so be careful and double check the complete address.
Double check that coupons codes were applied to your order. We can only honor codes that are applied during checkout and show up on your invoice.
Manufacturers are responsible for the labeling of products,
the actual weight of their paints, the actual colors of the paints or glitters, face paint reactions, or any other matter about the products that are beyond our control. We do our best to
communicate with manufacturers about our customers concerns, especially if you
feel a product is defective when your receive it. Please
contact us right away if you have any concerns about a product that you want to
order or have ordered. Please
contact us if you want us to send recent pics of the paints to see
what current batches look like. All monitors will show colors differently.
We hope that you won't be disappointed by your purchase, but you never know! At Jest Paint LLC you may return many of your unused, undamaged products for a store credit, refund or
exchange as long as you contact us within 72 hours of the arrival of your
DVDS, books, magazines, practice boards and downloadables cannot be returned.
Before returning any item you must call and get an authorization from us along
with shipping instructions. Let us know what you want to return and why. Unless we made an error with your order or the product you want to return has a manufacturer's defect, you will be responsible for the shipping and insurance to make sure it all gets back to us in one piece. You must ship your items to us within 7 days of
receiving your package to qualify for a refund/credit or exchange. Returns
received without an authorization will not be credited and items will only be
shipped back to customer at customer's expense, so please contact us first.
If the error was on our part we will pay for the shipping of the returned item and the shipping of the correct item.
We will not issue a credit, refund or
make an exchange if you have thrown away any possibly defective product or
altered the condition in which it was shipped to you, so please call first
before trying any experiments on it or tossing it. :)
If a non defective item arrives to us damaged, used or in a condition that
will not allow for us to re-sell the item, we will not be able to issue
a refund, store credit or exchange. Pack your item well and/or insure it to
prevent damage during shipping.
Once we get your returned product and approve the condition of the item as
returnable, we will issue you a store credit, refund or offer you an exchange,
whichever your prefer. If you participate in a coupon code sale, you will get a refund based on what you actually paid after the sale amount was taken off your total. If you received a free product, you will have to return the free item if your returns are large enough that you wouldn't have qualified for the free item.

HOW MUCH IS SHIPPING?
Shipping and handling is
automatically calculated prior to submitting your payment
Simply add items to your cart and proceed to the Checkout page where you will
be offered shipping method choices and their prices.
If what you paid for in shipping while checking out is not enough to cover the actual shipping and handling
costs for your package, we will let you know ASAP so that you can pay for the
difference, downgrade the shipping method, or cancel your order if you don’t
agree to the correct charge (this only happens a few times per year). If you
feel like your shipping is being miscalculated you can also contact us before
checking out to see what is going on.
There may be a handling fee included in your shipping total to help us cover
all of the costs of packing materials, trips to the post office, running this
super awesome online store and to pay those who help us pack orders. We ship
Monday-Friday so that you will have a very short wait to get your products
(except for Postal Holidays).
Our product prices are some of the best, as well as our customer service, (we
live and breathe face paint) so you still should end up saving money overall
when shopping at JestPaint.com and have the most fun and get a learning packed

We use the U.S Postal Service (USPS) Priority, Priority Express, and First Class Shipping.
WHAT ARE MY SHIPPING OPTIONS?
-There is a 2-3 day estimated delivery time (starting on the day we ship it) in the U.S. and it will be printed on the label. These are estimates only and not guaranteed, so shop early!
-Includes up to $50 in shipping
insurance; subject to the terms and conditions of the U.S.P.S.
-You can add extra insurance or cover the full amount with our own shipping insurance
by adding the insurance to your shopping cart from the main menu categories.
-Includes a tracking number.
Express Mail (The safest option)
- Guaranteed Delivery in the estimated time (24-48 hours depending on the size of your city and subject to the terms of the U.S.P.S).
-Includes up to $100 in shipping insurance; subject to the terms and conditions
of the U.S.P.S.
-You can add extra insurance or cover
the full amount with our own shipping insurance by adding the insurance to your
shopping cart from the main menu categories.
Includes a tracking number to monitor the movements of your package from Jest
Paint to your door.
- Contact us right away if you need next day delivery to make sure we can ship
your order out right away, and that all items are in stock. Place your order by 1pm EST M-F to get your order out the same day.
- Let us know in the comments box if you want us to use our discretion to make any reasonable substitutions if our inventory is off and any items are out of stock and we can't reach you to discuss it.
First Class Shipping
- Sometimes the cheapest shipping
option for very small orders close to Michigan.
- This will only show as an option for very small orders. If you have a large
order and wish for us to ship it First Class you must let us know in the
comments section at checkout that you
want First Class Shipping.
If it is cheaper we will send you a store credit for the amount saved.
- Includes a tracking number.
- Average shipping time is 3 -5 business days, but could take up to a week or longer.
- It doesn’t include insurance. You can add insurance to cover the full amount
with our own shipping insurance by adding the insurance to your shopping cart
from the main menu categories.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR YOU TO PUT MY ORDER IN
Weekday orders placed before 1pm EST generally go out on the same day, or on a
rare occasion, if we are backed up it could take up to 48 hours. Call if you are in a rush, and we can Express it!
Friday orders placed after 1pm EST will not go out until the following Monday.
Sadly, we can't ship on Holidays observed by the U.S. Postal
Service. Google their holiday schedule if needed.
WHAT IS MY TRACKING NUMBER?
Once we ship your order, you will get sent your tracking number
via E-mail from our store and our shipping partner. In 24 hours it should show your package's adventures at www.usps.com.
If you did not get a tracking number emailed to you call or e-mail us and we will let you know your

longer than that, it might be stuck somewhere. We cannot offer more info than the USPS. You might also want to call your local post office.
SHIPPING INSURANCE INFORMATION
We offer the extra insurance from our shipping partners on our site because we have more success
getting faster refunds, and we will file the claims for you if you buy your
insurance with us.
Your order will come with up to $50 of USPS Shipping insurance if we ship it
Priority, or $100 if we ship it Express. This is USPS insurance and they are
tougher about getting you the refunds, and you will have to file the claims
yourself if your order is damaged or lost. You will most likely be asked to go
visit the post office before they approve a claim. The USPS does not cover
packages marked as delivered.
Shipping Insurance is available and
advised, especially for large or important orders. Jest Paint LLC is not
responsible for lost or damaged packages.
Mail Carriers can damage your packaging and products. Packages can also be
lost or totally destroyed by their sorting machines.
If you want to be refunded if anything
happens to your order during shipping, spending a little extra will give you
that piece of mind.
HOW DO I BUY INSURANCE?
1. Go to the Shipping Insurance category on
the menu. READ all the information posted there, it is important.
2. Select the amount that will cover the total amount of products you are
ordering. Our insurance partners policies state that you have to ensure the
total value of your package, not less or more. You do not include the shipping
or tax charges however, just the value of your products. Insurance only covers
the cost of the damaged product, not the cost of shipping back the new
product if there is a problem, or the original shipping and handling charges.
You will get a refund for the cost of the damaged products once the claim in
completed if the insurance company agrees to pay for the claim. This is up
to the insurance company and not us, if they deny the claim, we are not
responsible for the damage or loss of your package.
3. If you pay for insurance we will add insurance to your order and pack and
ship it following their guidelines.
WHAT IF MY PACKAGE WAS LOST OR DAMAGED?
1. Jest Paint LLC cannot be held
responsible for lost or damaged packages once shipped to the address on your
most recent invoice. We pack according to USPS guidelines to help prevent
any damage to your order but we cannot control what happens to your
package once we mail it out. This is why we strongly advise getting shipping
insurance, mentioned above.
2. If you paid for insurance through our website, take a picture of the damaged
products and the shipping container, and contact us. Insurance only covers
the cost of the damaged product, not the cost of shipping back the new
product if there is a problem or the original shipping charges. You will get a
refund for the cost of the damaged products once the claim in completed if the
insurance company agrees to pay for the claim. This is up to the insurance
company and not us, if they deny the claim, we are not responsible for the
damage or loss of your package.
If you did not get insurance through our site you can still file a claim with
the USPS. You can submit your claim at www.USPS.com. You
will need your tracking number, a picture of your damaged product, the
packaging it came in, and a picture of your invoice. Save the shipping
container and products until it is resolved. They may very likely ask you
to bring the damaged items into the post office to complete the claim.
4. If your package was never marked as delivered and you used USPS insurance
contact them immediately with your tracking number. If your package was marked
as delivered but you never received it contact the USPS right away. There is no
guarantee that they will resolve your issue, but sometimes if you report what
was lost they may be able to find it if it was left on a truck.
SOME EXTRA THINGS TO BE AWARE OFF BEFORE PLACING YOUR ORDER
paints may be more sticky or soft during the hot/humid months, or from the get go if they are
pearl or neon colors.
on skin type and the pigment you choose, some colors may stain your skin
temporarily. Using a soapy washcloth or sponge to rub off the paint is the best
way to remove it, but we are not responsible for colors that stain. Be aware of
dark, rich colors in all brands of paint. Global is the paint that has the
least staining issues.
Some paints may have cracks on the surface or through the cakes. You
can mention in the comments box to add a filler to the container so that the
cakes do not come loose in the container. We will put a packing peanut in each
cake to keep them steady and sealed to the base if they seem brittle. All inventory is
constantly revolving since the products we carry are in high demand, so cracked
paint is not a sign of old paint. Paint cracks because of the brittle
nature of some of the colors and the types of binders used. Temperature changes cause the paints to shrink and expand, which also leads to cracking. If the color is
brittle, they can come loose in their case during shipping and break. The pieces
will bond back together and the cracks will go away with use. We do not accept
the return of cracked paint solely based on the fact that it is cracked. Call us
for tips on how to get rid of those cracks!
Note that the actual paint or glitter colors might not be exactly like
those shown on the website do to the difference in computer monitors, and
sometimes the difficulties that come with photographing the product to show the
exact color match. We really try our best!
Some batches of paint and glitter look different than previous batches of the
Many colors in TAG, DFX, Cameleon and WOLFE are very similar, so though the
pics might look like a different shade, they are most often the same shade.
Likewise, similarly named colors might actually have different shades, a light
green in one brand may be different than a light green in another brand. Contact
us for swatch comparisons as well.
Weights of paints are approximate due to water loss and density of
the paint (neon, metallic, essential). Because of this, the actual weights might vary. The
weights we post are what the manufacturer puts on the labels.
