What am I receiving when I order the SynWax by Mehron?

When ordering this product, you will receive a synthetic wax developed by Mehron to substitute the traditional Modeling Wax. SynWax is a more pliable wax and easier to accomplish finer details, for designs such as cuts and scratches, than traditional Modeling Wax. It can be used to smooth the edges of prosthetic pieces and for blocking out eyebrows or adding features to characters for performances. We recommend you use Fixative A to give the finished product a clear and glossy finish! It also prevents wax or putties from melting under hot lights! You can achieve gory realistic looks very easily with this great product. This product is perfect for molding scars, burn marks, puncture wounds, rips and tears and more for pirate, zombie, horror and casualty makeup. This wax is also perfect for the broken or slice finger effects that you will find online.

How do I apply and remove this product?

Mehron Modeling Putty Wax is simple to use; just rip off a chunk and heat it up in your hands, dab it on and blend it out. Mehron Putty is a synthetic makeup product that can be reused and is easy to apply and remove. Fixative "A" Sealer can then be added as it is specially designed to seal wax special effects like Mehron Syn-wax or Extra Flesh, and to seal makeup or latex prosthetics. To remove this product use spirit gum remover to get off all the adhesive and then you should be able to get the rest off with soap and water!
