NOTE: The Teal tends to bleed into the Magenta and Yellow, so your cake may arrive a bit pre blended with a purple stripe between the Magenta and Teal, and a green stripe between the teal and yellow. The effect is the same once you load your sponge.

NEW Diamond FX Rainbow Cakes. They have approximately 50 gr of paint, the containers are about 2" wide, 2 1/2" long and 1/2" tall.

Tropic Tropic contains DFX: Violet, Neon Magenta, Sea Green, and Yellow.

Please note that the neon colors in this cake contain certain neon pigments that haven't been tested by the FDA to be use in cosmetics. The label says: Prosthetic Paint Special Effects Product- For professional use only. Please contact us if you have any questions. DFX has Neon Blue, Neon White and Neon Violet that only contain ingredients that have been approved by the FDA to be use in cosmetics. They do not have a strong glow under regular light, just under black light.

TIPS for using 50 Gr Rainbow Cakes:
The large 50 gram cakes can be used in their entirety if you load all of the colors up on half of a circle sponge. You can load the flat side of the sponge, or the rounded side. If you load on the rounded side you have more control over how much of the rainbow you want to press against the skin as you work around the face. You simply rock the sponge and pat as you move around the face. If you use the flat side of the sponge you will get the whole rainbow on the face, unless you pull up one of the edges of the sponge…which can lead to messy hands.

You can also use your round, flat or filbert brushes to load two or more colors from the cake, depending on the width of the brush you choose. You could use half of the cake for a gradient back ground, and the remaining colors to put flowers, hearts etc. on top, and everything will match. You might like trying to load two to three colors and sponging those coming out in staggered stripes from around the eye, and then filing in the space with the other 2-3 colors flipped, so that you have actually changed the order of the colors for variety sake. Have fun! Play with your cakes and try new things to keep you happily painting!

This is by far my most popular cake. I'd say the sea green & neon magenta are darker in person. It's a nice hot magenta, the blue/green is like a very vibrant teal (more blue than green to me). I use this when I really want a painting to pop!
